Senior Product Coordinator

Do you want to be in the center of maintaining the heart of Scania’s and also Traton’s modular system, i.e. the product structure and the principles around it?

Product Coordination is a global organization that works with product structure for both Traton and Scania. We develop and maintain both the Traton modular system (TMS) and Scania’s “bygglåda”. The closer cooperation and a common modular system within the Traton group will affect the way we create and use our product structure. Hence, it is an interesting time to be working in Product Coordination.

We are now expanding our team that works with EXIT-calculations, chassis electrics, and complete vehicle structures with a senior product coordinator.

Your role
As a senior product coordinator, you will get the opportunity to be our representative in initiatives developing both OAS, product structure principles, our methods, and other tools.

You will be in the center of creating and maintaining the product structure that is the heart of Scania’s modular system. You will both create the design structure (KS), develop the logic that ensures a correct specification (TCR/VCR), and create and maintain EXIT-calculations. By doing this in an efficient and logical way, you will influence the development of the product structure for all future products and solutions.

Your profile
You need to be quality driven and structured in your work and have the capability to see and understand the big picture as well as work with the details in a quality oriented way. Strategic thinking and the will to work with our future needs is meritorious.

As a person you should be communicative, support-oriented and appreciate to work both by your own and in a team. You should have a curious mind and interest in our products, willing to understand what we build and how. You should feel comfortable to work in English and preferably Swedish as well.

It is a great advantage if you have previous experience working as product coordinator. Experience as a development engineer (either hardware or software), production preparator or have previously been working with product structure and have experience with ECOs, OAS, TS, Mona, Catia and/or TCR/VCR is also a merit.

It is also an advantage if you have experience from or interest in programming since this is part of developing for example EXIT-calculations and also business apps to drive digitalization within the product coordination organisation.
