Senior Product Designer

This is an opportunity to join a team of Product Designers that work with our product teams across the world, delivering solutions that spans the entire financial industry, including the exciting cryptocurrency domain. You will have a chance to shape how Nasdaq works with product design, and help elevate the company within that area.
You will work closely with other teams in the organization to provide the best possible user experience for our clients and internal end-users. As a Product Designer, you see yourself as the glue between developers, requirement specialists, product owners, and end-users, and you enjoy the challenge of creating excellent user experiences based on high technical requirements.
We look for someone who is eager to learn, biased for action, and comfortable juggling multiple roles and pushing initiatives forward.
What you will be doing:
Design user-centric experiences that meet users needs as well as business and technical requirements
Scope, plan, and lead product design activities from start to finish setting the direction, and identifying and solving problems
Conduct user research, user testing, and workshops and apply the findings in design and requirements
Create user interface design including low-fidelity wireframes, polished designs, and interactive prototypes
Pedagogically communicate findings and ideas internally, and as well with external clients, to educate and spread knowledge about UX/UI concepts and ways of working
Collaboratively define UX strategy and vision for Nasdaq, and help create content for Nasdaq design system
Stay updated on the latest developments and trends within digital design and share your knowledge with the rest of the team
What you will bring to the team:
A degree in Interaction Design or equivalent
Some years of experience in areas relating to Product Design, preferably with experience in leading UX activities
A deep understanding of applying common UX-centric methods, such as wireframing, Personas, User Journey Mapping, User Testing, etc.
Abilities to engage and collaborate closely with external clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders, such as product owners and developers
A strong inner drive and motivation and an eagerness to learn, thriving in a high pace environment
It would be great if you have:
Experience from working in a company working with large scale, highly distributed systems, with high transaction volumes and which are data-intensive
Proficiency in Figma or equivalent prototyping tools
A basic understanding of Front-end development, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, etc.
An understanding and knowledge of the financial market, including Crypto
