User-centricity and bold branding are the core of Hedvig's design philosophy. As a Senior Product Designer, you'll be a part of our growing App Team focusing on mobile products. Your mission is simple — deliver the best insurance experience. We're looking for an influential player in a small team to drive product changes and evangelize design in Hedvig.
What about the role?
Take complete ownership of the project, from design brief to delivery;
Create and develop visual style, UX patterns, and product design principles by communicating, discussing, arguing, pitching, and inventing;
Understand how the product and the market works, and influence the changes;
Find and drive new design initiatives with business objectives in mind;
Improve collaboration processes within the product team while working closely with our brand creatives to ensure a consistent brand experience of Hedvig.
What about you?
Initiated and completed significant changes in the product, processes, and design teams for a few years;
Understand what business and user problems you solve in each task, and formulate hypotheses and solutions;
Know what a good UI is and are constantly improving your sense of beauty;
Excellent understanding of product patterns and the ability to build scalable solutions, make sure your solutions are tested quantitatively and qualitatively, never forgetting to follow up on feature launches, and be aware of everything in the product.
Know how to build relationships with managers, developers, data people, and creatives;
Hungry to learn and evolve in all things. From leadership skills to design craft to process to industry and market trends while working with ambiguity in a fast-paced environment.
