Mölnlycke is now looking for a Senior Product Designer – Digital Solutions within ORS you will be jointly responsible for end-to-end design, iteration, transformation, and validation of novel digital healthcare products. You will work in cross functional projects, consisting of individuals from a wide variety of specialties where you will help to guide and conduct user research, lead design synthesis activities, and employ rapid prototyping techniques. In this role, you will meld rigid process improvement methodologies like Six Sigma and scientific method, with creative technology design principals to extract and refine customer needs, and translate them into design specifications for intuitive, user-centric digital solutions to be used in a regulated healthcare environment.
These are the key accountabilities for this position
Generate new product ideas in healthcare technology
Help set and govern the Mölnlycke branded UX strategy and vision for product experience across digital platforms
Lead user experience and interface design processes, ensuring a deep understanding of user needs and behaviours
Advocates for end-users, strives to make products, technology, and workflows intuitive to use and easy to understand
Keep abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and design best practices to ensure our products remain competitive and cutting-edge
Ability to identify and manage product and operational risks (regulatory, security, operational, etc.) to prevent and/or mitigate risks to the customer and business
Ability to establish deep partnerships with business stakeholders to ensure product achieves customer requirements and aligns to organizational strategies and priorities
Work closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliver design solutions aligned with business goals
Drive and execute complex design control projects with mid-high business impact
Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that effectively communicate the product vision
Develop and execute usability testing plans to gather valuable insights and feedback from end-users
Develop acceptance criteria and design validation experiments to ensure product designs are based on real world evidence
What you’ll need
Senior experience with rapid concept development tools for digital products such as wireframes, mockups, storyboards, and visualisation tools such as Sketch, Figma, and Adobe XD
Deep technical knowledge in digital medical device development and maintenance
Education: Either a Master’s degree in engineering, life science or equivalent field of study, or alternatively a bachelor’s and demonstrated senior experience as a digital Product Designer
Expert level knowledge and experience utilizing user-centric design principles for requirements gathering, design, and functional validation
Knowledge of Global Regulatory Requirements and standards related to medical device
Advanced knowledge of and experience working with various server and client side hardware architectures, as well as cloud based, serverless, SaaS, and PaaS architectures
Advanced knowledge of and experience working with various server and client side software development tech stacks (Databases, API’s, Front end technologies such as HTML5, XML, ASP, CSS)
Demonstrated ability to translate complex customer needs into intuitive user-centric design specifications
Ability to facilitate cross-functional teams comprised of both medical and technical stakeholders, through requirements gathering, design, and validation exercises
Ability to work in an agile and fast-paced environment
Fluent in English and Swedish, written and spoken

Demonstrated proficiency working with SixSigma, and LEAN, preferably as applied to healthcare process improvement
Deep technical knowledge with digital equipment for the operating room
Knowledge of and experience working with HL7 and FHIR
