We are looking for a Senior Product Designer to join our Design System team to work on patterns across all our brands touching millions of customers. If you are a natural communicator with a strong user-centric design foundation, a strong holistic system design mentality and approach, and experienced design craft capabilities - this can be your next challenge!

You will be joining a rapidly growing and diverse team of talented and passionate Experience Designers. You will also collaborate with stakeholders across the business impacting product decisions across H&M, COS, Arket, Weekday, Monki and more, with your design craft, empathy and customer-focused mindset.


Responsibilities


As a key contributor to our Design System team, you champion a system design mindset and methodology with the aim to create scalable user experience patterns that is the foundation for creating coherent and professional user experiences that our customers simply love across all our brands.


Other important parts of the role are:
Collaborate with Product Designers, Brand Designers, Product Teams and other stakeholders and contribute to holistic roadmap with an Agile methodology and mindset.
Research user behaviors, validate concepts with end users and turn insights into value-adding products and services.
Lead visionary work and idea generation at a cross-product level.
Visualize and prototype design concepts at varying levels of fidelity, from paper and wireframes to interactive digital prototypes, for mobile apps and web.
Take existing design- and interface best practices and modernise and modify them to suit the needs of our customers and our brands.
Balance the more emotional brand-specific design patterns with transactional and more brand-generic design aspects.
Be the voice and advocate of the customer, constantly up to date with the latest trends, design possibilities and thinking within digital product design.
Facilitate creative workshops and collaborative sessions with multi-disciplinary teams.



Your profile
To succeed in the role, you are passionate about understanding the users’ needs, motivations, behaviors and are able to translate them into actionable, scalable deliverables. We also want you to have:
5+ years of proven track record delivering simple, complete and lovable end-to-end user experiences with a strong customer empathy mindset.
Excellent communicator able to articulate design rationale with solid analytical thinking and problem-solving capability - you love to simplify the complex.
Experience from working on Design System, Pattern Libraries and UI Guidelines
Strong conceptual thinker who understands not just design execution, but the business aspects of the products as well.
Systems-level design thinker infused with solid knowledge of design standards, processes, industry best practice, and trends.
Passionate about understanding the users’ needs, motivations, behaviors and are able to translate them into actionable deliverables.
Engaged, open minded and ambitious team player willing to share and learn.
