Senior Product Developer

Job description: We are looking for an experienced dry formulation specialist who knows how to create the best products. You will be responsible for developing new dosage forms, pharmaceutical compositions and techniques. You will be our expert and advisor on dry formulations, optimisation and qualification of formulations and processes on a laboratory scale. You will also act as an adviser for the younger product developers within Orexo AB. You will monitor development through industry literature, courses and conferences; produce supporting documentation for specifications regarding substances and finished products; keep records (testing plans, journal entries, technical reports, etc.), and participate in quality assurance by establishing development routines. You will also be responsible for pharmaceutical development and construction. Requirements: A completed technical secondary school education or university degree in pharmacy and/or chemistry. Several years experience in drug development in the pharmaceutical industry. Solid knowledge about current guidelines regarding product development and production within the pharmaceutical industry. Experience with quality assurance and quality systems such as Good Manufacturing Processes (GMP). Results-oriented and able to multi-task.
