Mölnlycke is now looking for a Senior Product Developer to join the Patient Journey Area; Management and Healing of Chronic wounds. This position will be based at our global HQ in Gothenburg, Sweden.
In the Chronic Patient Journey area team, we are working on early innovation activities by identifying opportunities through customer insights activities related to wounds originating from chronic diseases. The work is conducted in close collaboration with Global Marketing and is the bridge to the Wound Care R&D organization. Within this team, the Senior Product Developer’s mission is to drive early innovation activities identified as key strategic areas, based on the chronic wound management and healing strategy.
Your key accountabilities:
Project
• Drive and execute complex design control projects with business impact
• Accountable to deliver in assigned design control roles
Line
• Suggesting continuous improvements such as processes, work instructions and ways of working
• Coaching of Associate Product designers and Product developers
• Define and specify needs for new test methods
• Within assigned area:
On top of competitive landscape
On top of IP landscape
On top of technology & supplier landscape
On top of customer needs
• Generate new product ideas and IP

What you’ll need
Capabilities
Fully trained according to Senior Product Developer and assigned roles according to training Matrix
Deep technical knowledge in assigned medical device area
Deep knowledge in assigned product area
Knowledge of Global Regulatory Requirements and standards related to medical device.
Understanding of customers and end user needs including competitors’ knowledge
Good knowledge of all steps in IP generation
Deep knowledge in QMS and Design control
High demand on communication skills
Fluent English written and spoken
Assigned business area knowledge and general business acumen
Qualifications and Experience
Master’s or bachelor’s degree in engineering, chemistry or life science or equivalent
Senior experience within product development, preferably from life science
Experience in project management
