Senior Product Engineer

But now we want to be even better! We’re looking for a passionate Senior Product Engineer to our MSH Service, Product Sales Department.

So, what are you going to do today?

BU Marine Separation & Heat Transfer Equipment (MSH) - Service is responsible for all after sales business in Marine and Diesel applications, within the BU. It covers spare parts, retrofit, upgrading and services.

Alfa Laval holds a strong market position in this highly competitive and international market. We will take the next step to further strengthen our position, with a Senior Product Engineer

About the job

You will provide advanced level technical field service support to customers, sales companies (local field service & service centers) and central teams.

Acting as a mentor and trainer to colleagues working as product & application experts is of most importance.

In this position you lead and execute, advanced troubleshooting, new release commissioning, R&D field tests. You will provide expertise and coaching to colleagues in the product technology area concerned.

One important part is to train Graduated Service Engineers and Senior Service Engineers during hands-on, a participating and execute trainings as a trainer.

Support the international marine service organization when required.

What you know

- University degree in, mechanical, electrical, marine engineering or similar

- Onboard experience with a track record, especially in the engine room

- 15+ years of field service experience with a solid mechanical and electronical hands on expertise in separation and heat transfer technologies.

- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills

Graduated Service Engineer degree within AL organization is a plus.
