About Plugsurfing, a scale-up owned by Fortum. Plugsurfing’s mission is to make car charging easy by building the platform that connects charging point operators to EV drivers. We believe that a zero-emission future is dependent on the electrification of personal transport, and our job is to help accelerate the adoption of electric vehicles by making charging an EV simple.  

We are looking for a high-impact Product Manager to lead the Roaming Marketplace product, which helps our drivers find and use chargers across our Europe-wide Roaming network of more than 300k charge points. Location in Stockholm. 

You will have accountability for your roadmap and your product strategy, along with your team. At Plugsurfing we believe in fully empowered and autonomous teams who truly own and drive their product. Your success will be measured on how your product meets our mutually agreed product KPIs, not on which features you ship.

Your role:


• Own the strategy, roadmap and execution for our Roaming Marketplace product
• Drive Product Discovery for your product, organising, leading and performing research and customer discovery
• Use product analytics and data to understand your business and your customers and use these insights to drive product strategy decisions
• The Roaming Marketplace is one part of our broader EV Charging Platform, so you’ll need to work with a variety of stakeholders and customer groups, both internally and externally, to succeed
• Write high quality product specifications and user stories that will create tight alignment across engineering, design, sales and operations
• Report on product progress and KPIs for your product area
• Work closely with the Design and Engineering teams to develop innovative solutions that our customers love, and that also work for our business

Your qualifications:


• You have at least 2-3 years experience a Product Manager/Product Owner, ideally in a B2B or Marketplace-based product
• You have a strong product instinct that guides you, but you obsess over the data to test and validate your product hypotheses 
• You test everything: you don't believe in good ideas and bad ideas, just tested ideas and un-tested ideas
• You start with the customer first in everything that you do and every decision you make
• You are a natural communicator: you are comfortable with everything from presenting strategy to the company to negotiating the scope with the team
• You can create excellent written documentation that drives clarity of decisions and alignment across the company
• You are comfortable with ambiguity and making decisions fast without all the information
• You are a natural leader and great at working with people. You inspire others with your vision and your positive outlook and can-do attitude is infectious
• You are energetic, resourceful, and do what it takes to get the job done
• You are hungry to learn, and you are a self-directed learner
• You have experience working in a software startup or have experience with agile methodologies
• Experience in the eMobility/EV Charging industry is a huge plus
