The opportunity
This role will hold an operative as well as strategic accountability for the products within the defined vertical - Travel and airline. The role is to manage the existing acquiring products within Wordline and define new ones if demanded. You will be responsible for defining and creating the product offers, securing quality, optimization, drive development request and being the sponsor for the European market. You will also be the contact person for the GoToMarket (G2M) division “Digital Commerce”, securing their needs when it comes the commercial Acquiring products with the responsibility to align with the G2M people regarding Strategy, roadmap and priorities.
About the team
You will achieve success through creating a virtual team across the organization working closely with your peers in G2M team, Product and Operations. You will have the full view of where the opportunities, complexity, and USP’s exists for your products. You will be responsible for Product roadmap, both tactical and strategical. You’ll know the Customer Life Cycle as well as Product Life cycle for your product. You will work closely with the different Product/Process Owners in a collaborative and respectful way. Performance is measured equally on What you deliver and How you deliver.
Your day-to-day responsibilities include
Your responsibilities are divided into three main areas:
Business
· You are the natural ”go-to” person for your product and have a close collaboration with your virtual team, collecting input, informing, training and keeping them up to date of progress/issues and roadmap
· Set the Strategy for the area, evaluating existing and propose future segments and products
· Create a roadmap and an activity plan
· Create and maintain commercial documents supporting the Sales organization
· Participate in meetings with customers (when needed) with the focus on commercial, tactical and strategic areas for existing and new potential solutions
· Participate in RFP’s, supporting G2M teams with product details
· Work actively on areas of improvement to optimize profitability and quality
· Ensure that the product is compliant from a Scheme/Risk perspective
· Put in place reports to monitor the performance (commercial and technical) of your product for your segment
· This role will also act as Project leader for smaller projects related to the product or segment
· Drive change request in the Worldline Demand process
· Align with the G2M people regarding Strategy, roadmap and priorities
Maintenance of existing product
· Responsible for ensuring customer experience
· Understand the financials for your product i.e. profitability, where to invest in product development
· Understand the market place where Worldline is operating, how attractive are we
· Act on deviation on customer experience & quality
Product Development
· Responsible for implementation of initiatives for product development. Act as requirement owner
· Proposes and implement change that improves function and efficiency (internal & external)
· Flag products that drive too much cost or complexity and divert from strategy

Skills we can't do without
As our new Senior Product Manager – Airline & Travel you need to have the following skills and competences:
· Economics study with focus on marketing plus at least 5 years of professional experience in product management
· Experience in the finance or travel/hospitality industry
· Fluent English – spoken and written
· Analytical and conceptual thinking is one of your strengths
· Professional communication skills, paired with persuasiveness and empathy
· As a team player, you act reliably, independently and are resilient
Skills we'd like
It would be great if you have the following skills or experiences too:
· Experience in the payment industry is an advantage
· Previous working experience from a global FinTech company
· Other languages than English
