Business managements main mission is to create, develop, monitor and fine-tune plans to deliver on both long and short term targets. With a deep understanding of the overall business we create strategies to guide the organisation and at the same time support the daily work with methods and tools, business insights, pricing and business development.

What you will do:

The Senior Product Manager role is a strategic position for the whole of Product Management organisation. In this position, you will have regional responsibility where you take ownership for the overall profitability and growth map from a Product Management perspective.

In addition to this you will have a large variation in assignments which you will need to coordinate and/or align with many other stakeholders. Responsibilities will include developing and implementing sub-brand strategies, component strategies, support component pricing, initiate assignment directives for Market Introduction Projects, working with product quality deviations, etc. As you understand, the diversity is large and it is very much expected of you yourself to identify and pro-actively take initiative on what gives the most potential for developing the trucks business and supporting Scania’s strategy.

Who you are:

At least 2 year experience as product manager is required.

Being organized and appreciate a mixture of both hands-on straight forward tasks as well as more complex issues and an interest and experience in working with both Scania’s Product and commercial offering.  

The most important traits of a Senior Product Manager centre around experience, skill set and knowledge. The whole idea is that based on these traits you should be able to independently initiate or solve varying complex issues in a pragmatic and effective way.

You have analytic skills and handle the Microsoft Office package with ease, and experience in Power BI is a merit.. This position requires a strong personal drive, business knowhow, strategic thinking and an interest in leadership.

The role will take you to many different environments, internally as well as externally so you will need to deal with cultural differences and master English fluently. Swedish is not required.
