We are looking for a dedicated Senior Process Engineer to join us in our mission to contribute to a greener future. The role is part of our excellent team based in Skellefteå. By joining us, you will be a key player in building one of the first large-scale European battery factories.
Job Scope:
As a Senior Process Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and improving manufacturing processes to ensure maximum efficiency and productivity. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve issues and implement improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and implement manufacturing processes, procedures, and systems to optimize productivity, quality, and safety.
Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and cost-benefit analyses to evaluate process improvements and identify areas for cost savings.
Identify and troubleshoot process issues, implementing corrective actions to enhance efficiency and quality.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, technicians, and production staff, to ensure project success.
Provide technical expertise and support to production teams to ensure effective execution of processes.
Develop and maintain process documentation, including standard operating procedures, work instructions, and training materials.
Analyze data to monitor process performance, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvement.
Support Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and pre-commissioning activities of equipment and subsystems.
Review engineering and HSE documents to ensure commissioning and startup requirements are incorporated into the design.
Approve and assist in executing equipment commissioning, qualification, and validation documentation, including FAT, SAT, and SOPs.

Requirements:
A degree in Chemical Engineering (BSc, MSc, or similar).
Minimum of 5+ years of related experience in chemical & hydrometallurgical, petrochemical, or petroleum production/refining facilities or mineral processing.

Specific Skills:
Hands-on experience with process design, implementation, and optimization.
Experience in fast-growing environments, ideally in metal recycling, mineral, or hydrometallurgy processing.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to meet tight schedules and production goals.
Experience with risk assessments, gap assessments, and change controls.
Ability to plan, develop, and execute multiple projects under tight timelines.

Full-time employment, fixed salary.
