Northvolt has an exciting job offer for a Senior Program Planner to join our stellar PMO team at Northvolt Systems in Stockholm.
The Senior Program Planner will be responsible for project planning, scheduling and monitoring, along with project controls for customer projects (for new product development and industrialisation project environment) at Northvolt Battery systems. As a Senior Program planner- you will be responsible for setting up project schedules within the program using a generic Work Breakdown Structure (WBS). You will also be responsible for Monitoring and controlling the project schedule using effective periodic updates on progress of works from the stakeholders (mainly the program core team members).
In general you have atleast 8 years of work experience in the field of Project Planning and Scheduling for large, complex, innovative and challenging infrastructure, industrial projects.
Key responsibility
Develop, optimize and maintain overall time plan for the Program and detailed time schedule for each work stream
Plan and organize the project scope by work package to create the baseline critical path schedule and continuously track the progress with the project team and work package leads, using MS Project, Primavera or other similar tools
Manage progress measurement (Northvolt and external partners) and produce weekly reports to monitor progress
Run and manage scheduling coordination, both internally as well as externally
Guide the project team towards the project milestones in the schedule
Monitoring risks and opportunities to optimize the time plan and de-risk delays
Close monitoring and tracking of customer related changes for input to contract management and claims department
Produce schedule related KPI’s to track progress - Earned value analysis (e.g. milestone performance and deliverable related progress)

Skills & Requirements
Qualifications/education/experience
A university degree, preferably in Engineering or Business
Or a tertiary qualification and planning & scheduling experience. Additional qualification in planning & scheduling is an advantage
Typically minimum 8 years of experience in Project Planning, Scheduling and Monitoring role.
Has planning and scheduling experience from large/complex projects of similar scale, along with working in a multicultural environment (e.g. working in international teams, international projects etc)
Has worked on several projects and/ or bids, ideally in similar business area
Specific skills
Project Scheduling using critical path methodology
Experience of integrated Project Controls using Work Breakdown Structures
Primavera P6, MS Project or other planning tool
Excellent English written and oral skills, Swedish is a plus
Stakeholder Management and strong communication skills
Ability to challenge inputs and an eye for detail
A structured approach to working & problem solving
Good analytical skills and the ability to apply logical thinking
Financial awareness
Ability to work under high pressure and tight deadlines, excellent time management
