Senior Project Controller - Milan, Italy

Job description The main objectives of the position are to ensure strict compliance with the project control procedures, to control and monitor the project schedule, as well as the progress reports.To review actual spend versus budget provision, by monitoring and recording agreed changes and forecasting the impact of changes to be agreed.You will ensure that all tasks assigned by the Project Manager are completed on time and within budget, have a full knowledge and understanding of the contract, project schedule and subcontractors' schedule.You will also review the content and impact of changes, attend the project kick-off meetings, weekly meetings and other meetings necessary to ensure actions are taken.It will be your responsibility to review progress reports and monitor weekly update histograms against planned progresses.You will report hazards, accidents, property damage and substandard actions and conditions, participate in accident investigations and co-ordinate cost and schedule consequences.NOTE: In this position you will be stationed in Milan, Italy for the first 18 months and in Stenungsund, Sweden for the next 24 months. Qualifications General technical education (Bachelor degree) and a minimum of 10 years of working experience in industrial or construction projects.You are an experienced user of the project planning software - Prima Vera, have knowledge of cost reporting techniques including financial trend analysis and previous knowledge of project control.
