We are looking for a Senior Project Engineer to join our Engineering/R&D team in Insulation and Components – a Transformer Business Unit in Ludvika, Sweden. In this role you will have a chance to work in a creative environment with a technically challenging product.
You will be a part of a team that has a passion for continuous improvements and quality assurance. We have fun at work and what we do is important with a direct impact on our customers, co-workers, and company’s success!
Your responsibilities
Involvement in R&D and product care activities
Participation in all parts of the project, including planning, risk assessment, design, and verification
Cooperation with other functions within the company: SCM, production, marketing & sales etc.
Cooperation with external partners and suppliers
Supporting marketing and sales with training material for customers
Living core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business

Your background
Several years of experience from product development or similar engineering activities
BSc or MSc in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or similar
Experience in transformers or transformer components is a benefit
Knowledge in CAD tools such as Creo. Experience in mechanical or electrical simulations is a plus
Besides the technical skills we see that you are an engaged and driven person who is a true team player
You have the necessary drive to challenge yourself for continuous improvement in both short and long term
Fluency in English is required, Swedish is advantage
