Are you an experienced automation engineer who is passionate about working with control systems and technology in the process industry, like refineries, pulp and paper industry, heating and power plants, or similar industries? Then you are probably a person we want as our new colleague in a role as Senior Project Engineer in Gothenburg or Karlstad to join our Project Engineering team in Sweden within our new formed Nordic organization. You will be part of a good team undertaking Feed’s, do project design, implementation, testing and taking part in site activities such as startup and commissioning, all in line with our well proven project management system. You will have the chance to learn and develop in an international environment and you will access unique career opportunities. You will also be part of a growing and leading global supplier of products, services and solutions for process-related operations and will work on a mix of big and small automation projects.
Your role
- Support the team understanding, handling and meeting each customer’s expectations
- Take ownership of the engineering activities on all allocated tasks and proactively utilize methodologies, resources and techniques for maintaining the requisite schedule and quality standard
- Actively work to ensure that quality processes and instructions are being adhered to and that the relevant standard is achieved
- Fully understand the scope of work within your portfolio, ensure that it is delivered to the requisite quality, budget and schedule
- Acquire, maintain, and actively share knowledge and experience with the engineering team and the wider organization
- Take part in internal development projects and global engineering inititives
- Have the opportunity to travel, to local customers but also in Europe and other parts of the world supporting our customers
- Degree in engineering or degree in control & process automation or any similar field
- Minimum 5 years of experience within relevant process industry with a proven track record managing system design, implementation and factory acceptance test phases of projects
- Product and Application (DeltaV) knowledge would be an advantage
- Experience with configuration of control systems
- Process knowledge and site hands on experiences would be an advantage
- Communication and leading skills
- Computer literate (MS Office)
- Fluent English level (written and spoken) is mandatory while fluent Swedish is preferred
- Driver’s license for car
- Willingness to travel
