You will be part of HVDC Service. The HVDC technology has been on the market for the past 60 years and is used to transmit electrical power over long distances with minimal losses, using overhead lines, underground and submarine cable systems as well as to interconnect ac networks asynchronously to achieve optimized operation.
The SERT2 department is a part of HVDC Service. We are 23 persons divided in 3 teams, Control, Protection and SCM (station control & monitoring) teams. Our main delivery, in HVDC, is software for global upgrade projects. You will collaborate with all teams but belong to the SCM team with its Team leader. As a Senior Project Engineer, you will be responsible for developing the SCM area and its processes with colleagues to the next level. Your responsibilities
You will be responsible that tender documentation and budget are in line with the requirements for the software integration
Responsible for the time plans
Responsible for the Software documentation
Taking part of FST (factory system test)
Coordinating software deliveries with the Project Manager, Purchase Department, Storage and Receiving Department, but also the FST Department
Software integration of the installation and commissioning at site, including as-built documentation

Your background
You are an Electrical/Software Engineer with work experience within the area or similar ex SCADA. It is a plus if have worked with switchgears, control systems, PLC programming and/or testing
You have more than 2 years of experience in relevant field
Experienced with Microsoft Office applications
You should to be a natural team player with your colleagues
You are willing to learn and pass on knowledge to your colleagues
Fluency in English is required.
