We are now expanding our great team in Network Control to meet the global demand for our technology. That is why we are looking for people who want to work with advanced technology in an international environment.
As a Senior Project Engineer, you will become an expert on our advanced software applications that help our customers to optimize the operation of transmission and distribution networks. You will also work with advanced production optimization applications that help to adjust production to meet load forecasts. All to enable that the customers power grid is operated in a safe, environmentally friendly and cost-effective manner.

Your responsibilities
To be an application expert in our system deliveries in Europe and to customers in Asia, Africa and Australia
To Collaborate with technical experts at the customers and help them to model the customers transmission and distribution network assets
To Plan and conduct tests with the customer to assure that the system solves the customer's needs
To Train customers on how to operate the functions in the system
Coordinate and drive so that technical problems that the customer reports are taken care of and solved by our technical team in the best possible way
To Live Hitachi ABB Power Grids core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business

Your background
Master of Science with focus on the energy systems, electrical power networks or similar
Experience from the SCADA/EMS/ADMS systems business
As a person you are analytical and accurate, you have good communication skills and the wish to work in a dynamic and multicultural environment
You hold general programming skills in C, C++ and Python as well as experience in mathematical optimization functions such as Matlab
Fluency in English is required, both written and spoken, to enable interaction with a wide variety of stakeholders
