Arbetsbeskrivning
Scania is now undergoing a transformation from being a supplier of trucks, buses and engines to a supplier of complete and sustainable transport solutions.
During the Corona crisis of the year 2020, Scania was the last to stop production and the first to re-start. This is not by chance, but due to a great organizational setup, cross-functional collaboration, and a strong commitment by everyone involved.
Now you have the opportunity to be part of the team making sure Scania’s global production system is able to roll despite the toughest of challenges!
The CCRM team, Cost- Capacity- and Risk Management, is looking for a new committed team member interested in leading projects and our project portfolio within the Capacity and Risk area, to make sure we are always one step ahead. The work we do has a great impact on the bottom line of Scania. Do you like working in a highly dynamic, cross-functional, and international environment with a high tempo and great development possibilities? Come join us!
The CCRM team makes sure all risks, short to long term, that might have an impact on Scania’s ability to deliver on customer promises are handled in a swift and professional manner. We are currently in an intensive period with many challenges, many of them dealt with globally and often together within the Volkswagen group.
Responsibilities
As a project manager in our team, you will be responsible for making sure our strategic plan and projects progress according to plans. This means running as well as optimizing our methods and processes and leading improvement assignments as well as taking on an operational responsibility to follow up, report and deliver according to targets.
Focus is on coordinating project plans and resources, and setting targets for strategic assignments. New requests need to be handled with available resources and ongoing assignments in mind. The work is carried out in close collaboration with resources within the department, Scania Logistics and other cross functional partners from all parts of Scania.
The team and me as manager
Our team consists of several experienced professionals where there is a strong team spirit and a clear “can do” mindset, especially in tricky situations. We believe in clarity and openness, strong collaboration amongst team members and the power of collective learning. I as a manager am engaging with a coaching leader style - I strive for all the team members to be independent in their work and to take many decisions themselves.
You
We believe you are an engineer or business graduate with experience from managing projects as well as multi project portfolios, preferably working with cross functional supply chain activities. You express an interest in issues related to project management, purchasing and logistics. You should have a focus on results and a strong ability to take initiative. Further, you like to handle multiple parallel activities and have the ability to look ahead and think proactively. Being able to handle all details whilst maintaining a holistic view is absolutely vital.
You like maintaining relationships and enjoy having many contacts within different parts of the organization.
As the role involves a large international network, you will need to be proficient in both written and spoken English. Swedish is an advantage as well as other language skills. Proficiency in German and Portuguese is a merit. We value diversity.
Grit is a personal trait that is highly valued - despite obstacles ahead we see things through. We always do our best!
