Project Office is a function within Project & Product Strategy Office (PPSO) responsible for bringing significant contribution to the Truck brands by driving the projects x-functionally with the right competence and best in class ways of working.


ROLE DESCRIPTION


We are a team of senior project managers and are expected to manage some of the most complex/critical projects that the company have to offer. Most of the project are industrialization projects but we also manage public funding and other critical items where senior project management skills are needed. We are the place where the organization turns to find project management excellence.


You will have the role as Chief Project Manager and work in close cooperation with a variety of stakeholders including Product Planning, Engineering, Purchasing, Manufacturing, Aftermarket and Sales to secure the complete project delivery.


You will be responsible for the project performance and work with a broad perspective from development gate – to the end managing planning, development and delivery. This position offers challenges and visibility at very high management levels.


Main responsibilities:
Lead the project management team and report to Steering Committee.
Manage the project according to set targets and business objectives.
Take an active role in improving ways of working to maximize customer value output.

Qualifications
Significant project management experience and/or line management
Excellent communication skills, verbally and in writing
Fluent in English, verbally and in writing.
Automotive industry knowledge
Master of Science in Engineering or equivalent
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or similar
