Senior Project Manager

Delphi has a strong presence in Swedish automotive cluster with over 250 persons supporting local and global projects. Growing our development and support team over approximately 30 years, we have the largest team of the top 15 automotive global suppliers. Currently two Delphi divisions are represented in Sweden; Electronics & Safety and Electrical/Electronic Architecture (E/EA), operating from two locations in Gothenburg

Now there is an exciting opportunity at Delphi, who is looking for a Senior Project Manager for a very large and important software and hardware project within Electronic and Safety. The project is consisting of about 80 team members worldwide involving modern technology.

As the Project Manager, you will have an extremely significant role to make this project successful.

MAIN DUIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


• Execution of all Programs/Projects through functionally integrated teams (Focus on Cost, Quality, Delivery and Methodology).
• Set Team priorities, manage and communicate Project Risks and resolve Project Issues.
• Document and communicate Team activities.
• Communicate Customer requirements for key deliverables and performance targets to Project Teams.
• Provide Project detail to Customer Program Managers for Project Reviews.
• Maintain all PDP Design Change, Process Change, and Cost Trackers and Summaries.
• Improve and Champion Project Teams’ adherence to PDP to achieve compliance



To succeed in this role, you enjoy leading big projects. You have excellent skills in leadership, coaching, documentation and communication (English and Swedish). You most likely have an Engineering degree, preferably additional business administration background. Some years’ experience in automotive or other high volume production, Engineering or Program Management.

You of course have experience in preparing for design and gate reviews and is used to performing risk analysis and developing risk management plans in Production Readiness issues/preparation. You are comfortable working with changes in requirements, scheduling, and resource issues. With great understanding of the technical aspects and of engineering procedures you are the person we are looking for. If you also have worked within automotive you are perfect.
