Senior Project Manager

Your role

As a Senior Project Manager, you will manage one or more of our cross-functional projects and deliver systems to both internal and external customers. These systems vary in complexity, with most of them including both hardware and software components. You will have a pivotal and extensive role that includes all phases of customer, product and development interactions, from defining the business and take it all the way to delivery, either through new product development or through maintain and sustain of current products.

You will be part of a team consisting of other project managers and you will work in close contact with our contract owners and the product managers when it comes to design, production and delivering our contracts. No day is the same; one day you might find yourself in international client discussions, and the next day, you could be out on the production floor with your developers, extending a helping hand. Communicating resources and competence need to the design and production organisation

Securing project deliveries according to customer and company procedures and other regulations

Travels occurs in this position, both domestic and internationally.



Your profile

To succeed in this role, you need to enjoy social interactions and have the ability to communicate clearly and effectively. We believe that you are driven, proactive and has a genuine interest in encouraging collaboration. Someone who is not hesitant to roll up their sleeves and lend a hand when necessary.

We believe the successful candidate has:

* Academic education in Engineering Science
* Multiple years as project manager leading cross-functional product development projects in an international environment
* Experience of both Software and Hardware development and Systems Engineering
* Experience in working in agile or lean environments
* Confident communicator in English and Swedish, both verbally and in writing
* Experience in working in matrix-based organisations
* Experience from working in procurement and/or production organisations is beneficial
* Formal Project Management education or certification is seen as a merit
* Experience from R&D projects in the interrail, aircraft or space industry is also beneficial
