We are looking for two (2) Senior Project Managers to join the Forest Division at Stora Enso to lead both IT and business development projects. Your future playground will cover all Forest Division’s units in Finland, Sweden, Russia, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. Location of this position is flexible. You will report to the Head of PMO, Forest Division.

The Senior Project Manager in the Forest Division will play a leading role in driving variable projects and delivering results in time, in budget and in scope. Senior level candidates we consider will need to have a proven track record of successfully leading complex implementation projects in an international environment from pre-study through deployment and operational support. You will be in a central role by bringing ideas as well as communicating with your stakeholders, project team and the vendors.
Candidates for this position should meet the following requirements:
Five to ten years of Project Management experience in planning and leading software development projects
Experience in leading ERP system development projects
Demonstrated experience in leading and planning of the ERP system implementation and hand-over phases
Expert knowledge and understanding of program/project management and software development including basic steps of project management - collecting requirements, designing solution, configuring, testing, training, documenting, communicating, deploying and supporting the hand-over phase
Excellent communication, collaboration and interactive team management and leadership skills
Professional and confident presentation and public speaking skills and ability to communicate with all levels in the organization
Hands-on and customer-oriented attitude
Good time management skills
Problem solving and analytical skills: ability to resolve issues and mitigate risks in a proactive manner to avoid project blockers and escalations
Ability and willingness to manage administrative tasks - to create and manage budget as well as report budget and project status to stakeholders and executive management
Bachelor’s degree or university-level education in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field
Excellent command of written and spoken English
Ability to travel
An organized way of working and a systematical and precise working style
Additional preferred skills & considerations:
Experience working with Microsoft Dynamics AX
Understanding of financial systems and processes
Hands-on experience with Microsoft Project and MS Project Online
Familiarity with agile implementation methodology
Project management certification (IPMA, PMI or equivalent)
Experience in forest industry
Fluency in some of the following languages: Finnish, Swedish, Russian, Latvian, Lithuanian or Estonian
Ability to facilitate workshops
Hands-on approach in organizational change management
