The main purpose with the role is to be part of the long term mission to build up and secure a strong and effective Product Development Process within the SMC organization. The position reports to Process Owner Product Development, Global R&D.The position will work in an international environment which will require frequent traveling. Key performance areas The position is a global function within SMC R&D including: - Lead Product Development and Product Management Projects - Plan, organize and educate within Product Development and Product Management Projects - Establish a SMC wide product development framework and project culture - Define a number of global R&D processes - Analyze and reconcile the multiple needs and concerns of people and/or project management - Make sure projects are driven in coherence with Sandvik Fair Play and Code of Conduct Your profile To succeed in this position you will need to have strong personal motivation, with excellent self-confidence, proven project management skills and good organizational awareness or an excellent ability to acquire a holistic organizational view.In addition you will have highly developed communication and presentation skills, having the ability to express concepts and hold discussions with people who have a range of technical experience.Fluency (both written and verbal) in English is a prerequisite. Your educational background is Technical university degree or equivalent.A minimum of 5-10 years of relevant work experience being required, preferably from positions as line- or project manager.Experience from successful change management, process and product design, project models, e.g PROPS is desirable.
