The Construction Department is in charge of all wind farm projects from start to completion. The team takes responsibility for a wind farm once a contract has been signed
and remains responsible until the final tests are completed. This includes the standard installation, commissioning and final handover of the wind farms to our customers.
Additionally, the construction department is responsible for more complex EPC projects. Working closely together with the customer, suppliers and other stakeholders is
a key parameter to keep the project on budget, schedule as well as that our extensive safety and quality standards are met.
Responsibilities
Ensure that the Planning department is sufficiently staffed with skilled and experienced Planners
Ensure that the Planning department is fully engaged and involved when it comes to the Sales and the Construction phase
Ensure that the Planning department is compliant with the Stage Model in terms of activities and deliverables
Ensure that the Planning department is consistently updating the Project Programme in accordance with progress and changes introduced during the various project phases
Making sure that the planners are effectively assisting the project team in terms of identifying the critical path and identifying risks, issues and opportunities
Effectively ensure that desk-top planning exercises are carried out based on known and future what-if scenarios
Making sure that the Planning department is supporting the project team with claim management variation cases and supporting the operational site management with short term planning tasks
Making sure that the Planning department support project management and site management to carry out resource analysis
Making sure that other reporting linked to progress and planning within the project and towards other key stakeholders.

Proven experience in effectively guiding & delivering complex projects and programs
