ABB Robotics is looking for a Project Manager to lead larger Production development projects to enhance performance. The main field for this role will be to lead the manufacturing organization in industrialization of new products. Project category is within production development, (e.g. production improvement, logistic transformation, product transfers between factories) and will focus to increase production efficiency at Robotics.
Your responsibilities
As project manager within Robotics you will run around three projects in parallel, in a variety of project phases.
As project manager in this position, you will report to management level as steering committee and gate team.
The project manager, with the support of cross-functional project team, is responsible for successful execution/delivery of assigned project(s) on-time, within budget with on quality- & safety framework of ABB.
Your background
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Business management or similar.
Experience of managing projects in a production environment, ideally complex projects, is a must.
Experience from working with projects of different size, complexity and contractual types.
Ability to assess, propose and implement solutions for mitigation and recovery upon deviations.
PMP® certification from Project Management Institute or certified by ABB competitor as PM or IPMA Level B/C certification recommended if recruited from an external organization.
SAP knowledge, commercial experience (RFQ/procurement/supplier negotiation) and documented BasP/BasU training is a great advantage.
Ability to communicate in both Swedish and English is a must.
