Your key roles as a Project Manager, polymer-based microfluidics
You will be responsible for complex multidisciplinary projects that involve polymer device manufacturing, microfluidics, biology, computer modeling and acoustophoresis. Your professional contribution to projects within polymer device manufacturing and microfluidics is vital. Knowledge of manufacturing methods such as injection molding, casting, stamping, machining and polymer bonding is crucial for the role.

Your tasks include classic project management such as:
- Defining of project scope, goals, and deliverables as well as tasks and required resources
- Coordinating with internal as well as external stakeholders such as suppliers, universities, customers, and project partners
- Create schedule and project timelines, and track deliverables and budget
- Prepare progress reports for stakeholders
- Managing of project team with a motivating attitude, as you will be leading project teams of various sizes. The team members will often be specialists with a strong-willed approach, who are involved in several projects. Therefore, the project manager needs to be inspirational and ensure that the project steps are well-structured and expectations clear.
On a more personal level, it is important that you can create a vision for your project teams. You act professionally and share your optimism, making others engaged in their projects. You know how to motivate your team members when challenges arise. You lead the way by having a can-do attitude.
Qualifications for the Senior Project Manager role:
- Master’s Degree: Engineering, Material Sciences, Physics, , or other relevant academic degree
- 5+ years of experience in project management of thermoplastic product development or manufacturing
- Language skills: English: fluent spoken and written. Swedish is an asset.
- Personality: Strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
For the connoisseurs:
The following three skills are assets!
- Microfluidic device fabrication experience
- Technical documentation experience according to ISO13485 (medical devices)
- Mechanical design using SolidWorks
You will report to Product Development & Production Manager Magnus Hivert. The position as Senior Project Manager, R&D is a full-time position.
