Senior Project Manager - Volvo Group Trucks Technology

Position Description

We are now looking for a Senior Project Manager to drive projects within the develop embedded software area at Digital Engineering, Volvo Group Trucks Technology.




At Digital Engineering, we are driving the development of tools and methods to improve the overall R&D efficiency. We are passionate about embracing and mastering digital technologies to support overall Volvo Group mission and we have a very exciting journey in front of us in terms of increased software-based product features, and sustainable, smarter, and safer transports.


Main responsibilities:
You will drive the dialogue with business representatives to understand their needs and secure the translation into concrete deliverables that create business value
You will manage a project team with both business and IT resources
You will drive the dialogue with Volvo Group Digital & IT, to secure IT development and deliveries
You will manage time plans, scope, cost, quality and work with project and product risk management, and you will lead the work to ensure robust risk mitigation plans securing business value in delivery
You will lead change management activities to ensure successful deployment and rollout of new methods and IT solutions

We are looking for a someone with:
University degree in either engineering, business, IT or other relevant university background or the equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge
Experience of project management and knowledge of IT development in Process and IT projects
Experience from working in an agile delivery organization
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills

As we work in a global organization, it is important to have a good command of the English language
Meritorious if you have experience in the automotive industry
