About the position

As Senior Project Manager/Work Package Owner you will be responsible for one or more disciplines including:

-Building & Facility design
-MEP systems
-Black & Clean Utilities

As our SPM, you will have the unique opportunity to create a state-of-the-art pharmaceutical facility and be part of a highly skilled department, quickly evolving as the project progresses fast. You will be an important part of the PM group with the overall responsibility for all building and utility systems. Work will be done in close collaboration with the other WPO's and our engineering company. Furthermore, you will be interacting with other disciplines and QA on a daily basis. Your work package will develop over time to be able to design, execute design reviews, oversee construction, and participate in commissioning to ensure best-in-class solutions and quality level. After successful acceptance and verification testing, you and your team will ensure a smooth transition of all systems into operation.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role:

- have a hands-on approach to your tasks and are technically adept, willing to learn and motivated to work in a project department.
- You probably have a degree in engineering and at least five years of relevant experience, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.
- You are great at both contributing to and managing complex technical projects and has proven experience within project management.
- You are fluent in English both oral and verbal, in addition Danish will be considered as an advantage.

As a person, you are quite outgoing, easy to reach and engage with numerous stakeholders. Your positive and proactive can-do attitude energises your colleagues and stakeholders, ensuring engagement and commitment wherever you go. You enjoy knowledge sharing, and your quality and solution focused mindset is a natural part of you. The structure you apply to tasks helps you prioritise even when things are moving fast. You appreciate the value of accurate and timely documentation as an essential safety and quality control parameter.

About the Department

We are in the process of designing and building an innovative and large-scale manufacturing facility for purification of innovative pharmaceutical proteins for treating patients with serious chronic deceases. The facility will be constructed at our site Kalundborg and the plant design will apply new data and highly automated next level manufacturing technology.

We are a new and fast-growing project team that all work to make the new facility a reality. Currently, we are around 50 engaged and motivated employees. Within the coming years, we will expand and onboard approximately 200 more. Maybe you will be one of them?
