Senior Project Planner, Esbjerg, Denmark

H2 Energy Esbjerg, Denmark, is looking for a Senior Project Planner to join our growing team in Esbjerg, Denmark.

H2 Energy plans one of Europe's largest Power-to-X plant in Esbjerg. With a capacity of 1 GW, the plant will convert green electricity into hydrogen.

About the role:
In this role you will become part of the project team set for delivering the 1 GW project in Esbjerg - taking the project through its next major phases of Engineering, Construction and Commissioning. You will be responsible for the full aspect project planning, including implementing tools and workflows to control the project progress throughout all project phases. In this role, you will be working closely with the whole project team to secure a successful project delivery.

You'll be located at our office in Esbjerg (Borgergade 38, 1st floor).

Responsibilities:
- Managing scheduling, project resources, progress reporting, forecasting and risk management
- Developing and securing overview of the schedule and maintain it according to actual development
- Structuring work breakdown and scheduling of project deliverables
- Securing overview of schedule and actual progress
- Maintaining overall project schedule and milestones
- Supervising the project at all stages to identify variances and actively finding solutions
- Forecasting and reporting progress and performance
- Maintaining Opportunity, Risks and Actions register
- Maintaining consistent integrated schedule - actual, and forecast
- Managing change of scope process and impacts on project controls
- Organizing and managing the document control process

Desired skills:
- Proven experience with planning and project management in large scale projects or similar
- Good general technical understanding from similar process industries
- Discipline knowledge of Scope, Cost, Schedule, Risk and Contract Management and interrelations
- Able to critically evaluate information, generate solutions and actively using facts, combining analytical thinking and experience to support decisions
- Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods
- Proficient with MS office and other relevant planning software
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English are required. Danish or Swedish is an asset
