For one of or international clients we are now looking for a Senior Purchaser based in Singapore. Our client has the ambition is to become a major and quality offshore drilling contractor.Qualifications: .Degree within Engineering and/ or Project Administration, .More than 10 years experience within Procurement in larger Project organized industries..Experience with Drilling Equipment and/ or Marine Equipment for Floating Units..Negotiation abilities, and supervision experience, .We would like to see experienced/older applicants Job description: Vendor Data Base for: .Complete Drilling Machine, .Typical Marine Systems for Floating Units, .Consumables for Operation of Drilling Vessels, .Medium Sized Yards in SEA Prequalification: .Standardized approach and formats, .Additional potential Vendors.Perform Market Surveys: .New/ Second Hand equipment, .Cost of refurbishment, .Spare Parts, location and min/ max volumes.Frame Agreements: .Tagged bulk items for Projects, .Consumables for Operation.Vendor evaluation for major packages: .Standardize enquiries .Uniform comparison, .Presentation for Management.Support System Engineer: .Format PO-register, .Format and flow chart for PO follow-up, .Format PO-plans, and links to Engineering and Construction..Procedures and working routines.Persons we are looking for must preferably have the following qualities: .They must be well organized, .Work wise they must be an example for the Procurement Staff, .They must be firm persons towards: Engineering, Construction, Vendors and Yards..Must be able to sell their ideas towards Management..They will have a free positions in order to develop the professions of; Procurement, Logistics and Estimating.As a person you must be enterprising and also able to develop your own Scope of Work and the Procurement Department within the frame work as outlined in the Scope of Work for the Positions.You also have to be able to move to Singapore for at least 2-3 years starting as soon as possible.Our client will be able to help with the living arrangements.Mark your application "Purchaser Singapore".Selection and interviews will be held continuously.
