Our Team and Role
We are rapidly growing and welcoming new colleagues with an interest to grow. You will contribute as a SW-engineer within development of core features and automated testing supporting the overall quality. Our teams are working in many different areas from car feature development, SW build tools & CI pipelines and system analyses solving issues other teams have trouble figure out themselves. The teams are working in an agile way where they have a great independence, ownership and trust. We have a warm and relaxed atmosphere where you will be an important contributor to the team. In our teams you will become a SW-engineer in embedded systems, working through all phases of software development. You will design, build, test and integrate applications, aligned with deliverables and deadlines. Our software will run on emulators as well as real hardware rigs and cars. You will build the next generation of Volvo cars.
Who You Are?
You are a humble, driven person, eager to join one of our high-performing teams. We believe you have several years of experience in software development, and preferably an MSc or BSc in Computer Science or similar. You are eager to grow professionally and motivated to take on challenging tasks in a complex, innovative environment. You are also fluent in English and able to communicate effectively with stakeholders.
Great to have:
• Development in CI systems and System Integration
• Software/Tools development in Python
• Fluent in English (written and spoken)
Other skills, but not mandatory:
• Experience from ISO26262 and ASIL compliant development, Zuul and Jenkins, Configuration Management experience
• C++, CMake, BAZEL, ConfigHub/Artifactory
