Job Description


Regardless of area, tools or languages, a Senior QA Automation Engineer builds and configures solutions that are easy to maintain and change, enabling a constant delivery pace to be kept indefinitely. This is achieved through continuous attention to technical excellence and good design, with extensive use of automation.

As a Senior QA Automation Engineer, you have an entrepreneurial mindset, are excited about creating something new and challenge the status quo. You will focus on the following responsibilities in a fast-moving environment:
1. Support the Automation Lead with Designing, implementing, and maintaining automation frameworks
2. Providing the in-team support to the various other product teams by helping in setting the automation framework that is best suited
3. Performing automation readiness assessments and reporting on findings.
4. n-team support in the automation scripting and supporting in maintaining the user journeys, unit tests, regression suites, API testing and participate in future DevOps initiatives.
5. Communicate regularly and in a timely manner on the status of test automation coverage
6. Drive continuous, measured improvement of automation testing processes, strategies, plans and frameworks across the organization.
7. Support the Automation Lead in building out and the sustainment of the Automation practice.
About You
• Bachelor’s or equivalent work experience in Computer Science, Mathematics or Business-related field with 5+ years of IT automation test scripting, maintenance, and execution experience on large projects in agile and waterfall environments.
• Experience developing an automation roadmap and frameworks for large applications and scale test automation initiatives
• Knowledge of testing integrations and APIs (JSON and XML)
• Exposure to TestProjectIO, Selenium
• Knowledge of automated testing and different test automation tools
• Hands on experience with Programming Languages
• Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Test Manager/QA Lead
· Driven and good at taking own initiatives
· Keep a helicopter view, but with the ability to go down into technical details
· Ability to communicate problems and solutions on a technical level
· Excellent Communication skills in speech and writing in English
· Ability to build good relationships
· Be pro-active and can anticipate problems and respond accordingly
· Be able to make accurate risk assessments
· Bonus to have a background in E-Commerce
