About the team
As we continue modernizing our IT platforms, we are utilizing the power of standard customizable systems to support our core insurance business. This initiative is seen as a key success factor for If in the future to meet our business requirements and support our cooperation with the Mobility industry.
We are in the initial stages of deploying the new cloud-based core insurance system Guidewire InsuranceSuite for our partner offerings. As we initiate the program and start implementing our new solution, we need to mobilize the IT organization to make this transformation possible.

About the role
You will be part of a team responsible for the implementation of our cloud based Guidewire InsuranceSuite. You will together with your team design, develop and deploy robust solutions using good engineering and agile practices, and continuously evolve them over time. As a Senior Guidewire Quality Assurance Engineer you will take responsibility to ensure the test automation practices and tools are modern, effective and efficient. You ensure the entire team understand that they are collectively responsible for the quality of the deliveries. You excel in creating test automation frameworks and enjoy leading and coaching teams to use them efficiently.

Who you are

Demonstrated leadership skills, with a talent for coaching and inspiring teams.
A commitment to product quality, driving excellence at every stage.
Extensive proficiency in test automation tools and technologies such as Karate, Gherkin, and Cucumber.
Proven expertise in Java stack toolsets and frameworks.
Hands-on experience with JSON, REST, and related technologies.
Mastery in test automation across all layers, from code to UI, encompassing API and functional/non-functional testing.
A solid grasp of Agile methodologies and modern Software Development Life Cycle practices.
Track record of implementing DevOps principles and technologies, with a focus on Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD).
Strong communication skills in English.
Good to have:
Familiarity with the Behaviour Driven Development (BDD) methodology.
Exposure to multiple tools and technology within each category.
A degree in software engineering or related field
Strong proficiency in Java and other languages and frameworks.
Proficiency in setting up and configuring the Guidewire Test Automation Framework.
Experience in Guidewire InsuranceSuite Cloud implementation projects
