What we do? Senseair is a global, high technology company that develops and manufactures air sensors for CO2 and Alcohol. Senseair in Sweden consists of 190 employees in Västerås, Kista and Delsbo. Internationally we are located in Chengdu and Düsseldorf. Our head office is located in Delsbo, where we also have our production plant. We have R&D operations in both Delsbo and Västerås. Location for this position is Västerås.
For several years important development projects have been ongoing with a focus on automotive. Together with a group of leading car manufacturers, smart built-in sensor systems are being developed to measure the alcohol content of a car driver. We are aiming for a sensor in every car, in order to contribute to a drastic reduction of the more than 2.5 million alcohol-related car accidents that occur every year.
Your role? We offer a new and exciting role as a Senior Quality Engineer. Your primary responsibility will be to develop the quality processes to meet the standard IATF. That means that you will work close to operations, product development and our suppliers, mostly within electronics and plastic parts.

Support the organization with APQP-skills and trainingPerform audits at suppliers and internallyManage lean- and Six Sigma projectsSupport customers in Automotive when neededDocumentation and follow-up of customer and other stakeholder requirements
Who are you? We are looking for a true team player with belief that the best results are achieved together. As a person you are a self-starter, with a strong can-do attitude with great analytical skills. You are genuinely passionate about quality and technology. You can navigate comfortably in cross functional teams and you have very good communicative ability both internally and externally. Furthermore, you are a trustworthy, credible and reliable person with a highly professional approach.
Has a university degree in the engineering field, preferable Quality EngineeringGood knowledge and experience of APQP methods and processesExperience of supplier auditsKnowledge and experience of production in electronics manufacturing and relevant standardsGood administrative skillsGood knowledge of Swedish and English in both speech and writingExperienced at working in an international environment.
