Our Exciting Opportunity
Test & Continuous Integration sector (TCI) within PDU Compute and Digital Silicon (CDS) has the responsibility to secure cross-module HW and SW integration, test for RAN Compute, Street Macro, Site products, Radio GW, vRAN products and solutions. We do this through top class test strategy, integration environment, integration methodology, and Node and RAN level test execution. The sector consists of approximately 160 engineers over 5 international sites.
Job Summary
Passionate about developing 5G products for Ericsson? Enjoy challenging yourself to exploit the most effective and efficient way to secure Ericsson 5G Product quality? In this position, you will work in a team that has system integration and test responsibility on node and solution level for Ericsson Baseband and Street Macro product(s) in the 5G context! You will also work together with other development and test teams cross DNEW to secure accurate system behavior and SW quality levels.
You will
• Actively participate in product development cycle: review system solution, test analysis, test execution and execute product introduction
• Play a technical lead role in system integration of HW/SW and test activities: plan and execute testing, master the complexity of test environment, coordinate troubleshooting
• Work on test automation and delivery test cases into CI loops.
• Act as a competence builder in the organization
• Initiate and drive continuous improvements of products and processes on TCI level and also PDU level
• Report to the Line Manager
To be successful in the role you must have
• Highly knowledgeable on Baseband and Radio on node level and preferably platform software part
• Excellent and proven record on testing, troubleshooting, problem-solving and system thinking
• Proven record of test automation architectural level design is a plus
• Lean and Agile mentality, knowledge and skills
• Bachelor/Master of Science in Telecommunication or Engineering and equivalent formal education
• Proficient in English, both in oral and written
