About the job
You’re an important member of a small team that’s securing access to edge preparation and surface treatment for our future products. About you
We’re looking for someone with a master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Material Science and a couple of years’ proven theoretical and practical experience gained from working in a relevant area – someone who can work independently from the start. You have good knowledge of carbides and hard materials, as well as machining applications. You should also be skilled in project management and have good knowledge of surface treatment, micro-geometric measurement, microscopy and surface characterization. As we operate in an international setting, you’re fluent in English, while knowledge of Swedish is an advantage.
We place great interest in your outgoing personality and passion for sharing knowledge. You enjoy working in a setting where collaboration is crucial, and you bring energy and commitment to utilize the experience of an entire team or network. Also, you have a thorough and structured working style, and the patience needed to undertake tests and technical experiments while keeping detailed and accurate records of your observations. Equally important; you are a great communicator, who easily builds and maintains productive relations with both internal and external stakeholders.
