We’re now looking for an R&D Engineer to join our Hard Metal Development in Västberga, Stockholm – someone who wants to make a future mark in this core technological area of our business. About the job
Together with your team, you’re responsible for designing, developing, and validating hard materials for cutting tools – aiming to identity new and effective ways to ensure resilience and high-performance during machining. You focus on the development of novel cemented carbide materials for hard metals; contributing with your expertise in both knowledge building projects and product development projects. You actively interact with our internal and external stakeholders to ensure excellent cooperation. Managing patents is also a natural part of your job – to protect our technology and innovations.


About you
We’re looking for someone with a master’s in materials technology or technical physics, and we consider a PhD as highly valuable. A good understanding of the properties and processing of hard metals is required. Developed skills in advanced material characterization and project management are strongly appreciated. As we’re a truly global organization, you need excellent written and verbal skills in English, while knowledge in Swedish is a plus.
