Volvo Group Recruitment is represented by local recruitment teams in Volvo Group’s primary locations, in total 80 people in 6 different countries. Volvo Group Recruitment is a part of People Services, that is responsible for providing services to the Volvo Group within the Human Resources area.

We are a successful team of 25+ recruiters in Sweden looking for new experienced colleagues. The Volvo Group is on a transformation journey to sustainability and in the midst of a significant competence shift, requiring new competencies within the field of Digitalization and Electrification. As a Senior Recruiter you will be a key driver in this disruptive change. We dare to promise a unique opportunity to grow together with us!
Your main responsibility as a Senior Recruiter is to secure the future talent needs within the Volvo Group. In close collaboration with business managers and HR colleagues you drive the end-to-end recruitment processes by identifying, attracting, assessing and recruiting talents from all over the globe.


Through networking and relationship building you will soon have created an extensive local and global network and are considered by the business as an invaluable asset in recruitment related issues. You are expected to work independently but are part of a team of other talented recruiters, working towards the same goals.

Core Responsibilities:


You will drive the end-to-end recruitment processes by identifying, attracting, assessing, and recruiting talents from all over the globe. This includes working with candidate sourcing, screening, and short-listing of candidates, conducting assessments and competence-based interviews. You will also provide guidance and training to Line Managers and Human Resource representatives on recruitment related topics.


Experience and skills that will make you successful:


We believe that you have solid experience from recruiting, probably from an internal recruitment department or in a recruitment agency, and especially in the field of digital transformation and engineering. You have an academic degree, or the equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge skills and abilities. A background within engineering or IT is just as valuable as business or HR experience – and prior leadership experience is seen as an advantage. Over the years, we believe that you have gained knowledge and experience in a wide range of current recruiting practices and trends – but keep a curiosity to still learn and develop within this field. Last, but not least, your service mentality and positive approach will take you a long way!
