Standing in front of intriguing challenges in the light of digitalization and Industry 4.0, we’re now looking for a Senior Recruitment Specialist to ensure excellent quality in recruitments in the Nordic countries and to lead the development of ways of working going forward. This is a job where you’ll act in a global matrix organization with many different brands, business units and divisions, and you’ll be working closely with an engaged and very experienced recruitment team, as well as with management teams across the Sandvik Group.
The location for this position is flexible, though we prefer a base in Sandviken or Stockholm.
The job
Joining us as a Senior Recruitment Specialist, you’re primarily responsible for senior–level recruitment within Sandvik Group–from the initial meeting with the hiring manager, to the final signing of the contract. You act in close collaboration with our managers to identify true requirements, perform selections, competence-based interviews and personality tests, as well as all other common tasks included in the recruitment process. Proactively conducting market research and candidate identification in target geographies comes naturally. Knowing your customers and understanding the business needs are important parts of this position, and you thrive when guiding managers to a successful new hire.
You build and maintain a strong external and internal network to enable proactivity, quality and speed in recruitment – as well as in building the Sandvik employer brand – and you hold on to the importance of a strategic vision into the future. Monitoring trends and development in the recruitment area is central in this job, and together with the recruitment team, you design, adapt and implement new recruitment methods, tools and processes to continuously progress and improve our work. You support your colleagues in their professional development, and also, you take lead in introducing newly hired recruitment professionals.
Your profile
We’re looking for someone with a couple of years’ broad experience of working with senior–level recruitment and strategic recruitment processes – in–house or in a recruitment firm. You’re well prepared for taking our recruitment process to the next stage, meeting the demands of the digital era and working with tools such as LinkedIn and Stack Overflow. Of course, you’re used to applying assessment tools in the process and you have extensive experience from working in a multi-functional business organization. Since we’re a global player, you have excellent communication skills in English. A university degree? Yes, if it’s relevant it might come handy. In the end, it’s your experience that really matters.
We’re super keen to get hold of your networking skills and the ability to gain trust among clients and colleagues. You’re comfortable in challenging and coaching your coworkers and the managers – and not to forget the management – to gain the best possible result for the business, and you're able to structure both your own and the hiring managers’ time effectively. You understand the importance of teamwork, and leading projects fairly and objectively comes naturally. Further, you’re a strategic thinker with a deep interest for industry awareness and new ways to acquire talent.
