Collaborate with expert scientists within spatial single cell analysis
About the role:
In this position you will be part of a team responsible for preparing and processing biological tissue samples through our in-situ sequencing (ISS) pipeline. You will support all aspects of the process including upstream bioinformatics to data analysis to ensure highest quality of results are reached. This work will be in close collaboration with expert scientists within spatial single cell analysis and gives you the possibility to participate in high profile cutting edge biological and disease-related research projects.
What you will be doing:
Project management including sample handling, probe design, and communication with relevant functions within the projects
Library preparation and ISS of biological samples on microscope glass slides
Fluorescent microscopy imaging and data processing
Support downstream analysis of ISS data
Development and improvement of the ISS pipeline

To be successful, you will need:
Minimum MSc, or equivalent, in Biomedical sciences / bioinformatics
Wetlab experience with immune-staining and/or in situ hybridization techniques on tissue sections
Fluorescent microscopy experience (confocal or standard epi-fluorescence)
Large scale image analysis using relevant SW (e.g. CellProfiler, ImageJ)
Experience of designing probes for targeted enrichment/assays
Excellent problem-solving skills
Written and spoken communication skills (English)

It would be advantageous if you had:
Academic degree (PhD, MSc, BSc) in computer science / engineering
Programming languages: experienced in Python or MATLAB, or other is a plus
