Senior Researcher Chemistry

Right now, we are investing in a new pilot hall with a comprehensive research infrastructure within the field of biorefinery from lab up to pilot scale. We are now recruiting chemists ready to join our exciting journey! 

About the role
As a chemist at RISE Processum, you will mainly work with development and research together with industrial partners in areas such as chemical process development, flow chemistry, electrochemistry, hydrothermal liquefaction (HTL) or hydrothermal carbonization (HTC). Your work will be performed in a team where collaboration with researchers and professionals not only within RISE, but also with companies, other R&D organizations and universities are important parts of the job. It also consists of

- building networks
- writing research applications
- creating new customer projects
- managing projects
- development and building of new processes in laboratory and pilot scale.

Who are you?
We are looking for a candidate with a solid background in a relevant field, such as: synthetic organic chemistry, process chemistry, wood chemistry or materials chemistry, by education or longer work experience. In addition, experience in writing research applications, project management and building consortia with other research groups is a requirement. An extensive network of companies, institutes and universities is of great importance for the position. Also, your personal qualities are important, and we would like you to be a cooperative problem solver. Fluency in English is a requirement.
