About this opportunity
We are now looking for an ambitious RF System Designer and a team worker! As a RF System Designer, you will be a member of a team that is developing the next generation of Ericsson radio products, including radio filter, antenna filter integrated products, and antenna line devices. You will contribute to the evolution of our product portfolio, participate in pre-development projects as well as in technical studies and follow the developments in 5G Radio systems.

What you will do
Analyze, define and handle embedded filter requirements needed for our 5G AAS radio products
Working together with antenna design team on the requirements and design of antenna filter integrated products
Analyze, define and handle antenna line devices requirements, including SL filters, TMAs and combiners
Define and analyze and the radio performance verification with antenna line devices and site solutions
Collaborate and be the main technical contact with filter/antenna/ALD suppliers worldwide
Simulate and develop filter and antenna line device design solutions
Review and analyze design solutions and work with continuous improvements in products and processes
Secure and develop high-quality products using quality assurance methods and tools, like Failure Mode Effect Analysis (FMEA)
Develop competence in the technical domain
Work with strategic technical leadership
Provide troubleshooting and customer support
Perform practical work with filter prototypes
Perform verification of high-quality, high-frequency filter products


You will bring
MSc degree in physics or electrical engineering or equivalent
At least 5 years of extensive experience in Filter Technology, including design knowledge, verification skills and production processes
Strong knowledge of Radio design
Good knowledge of Antenna design
Good understanding of cellular radio networks and site solutions
HFSS and ADS, RF design tools knowledge
Good knowledge in Radio/RF/filter technologies and products
Ability to work in a cross-functional and network-oriented organization
Knowledge and experience of filter production processes and quality assurance for high-volume production
Innovating, adapting, and responding to change abilities
Excellent written and oral communications skills (English)
Developed collaboration skills
Good skills in handling relationships with external suppliers
Lean & Agile knowledge and skills


This position will report to Manager Filter & Antenna Design 3.
