Senior Scada Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior SCADA Engineer to join our team in Ludvika! As a Senior SCADA Engineer, you will play a critical role in deploying and securing the next generation of control systems. You will work closely with a team of talented engineers and collaborate with technology and marketing departments, as well as with customers, to ensure the successful design, implementation, and verification of the SCADA interface between our customers' systems and our remote-control systems.

Key Responsibilities:

- Take ownership of the design, implementation, and verification of the SCADA interface between our clients customers' systems and their remote-control systems

- Design technical solutions based on industry best practices, ensuring high quality and reusability

- Work on Database management System (MS SQL)

- Provide training and share your knowledge within the organization

- Contribute to a positive and proactive team atmosphere

Qualifications:

- Degree in Engineering, ideally computer science with a specialization in data communication and network technology or similar training

- Expertise in data communication and network technology with a focus on SCADA

- Experience with protocols used for energy automation systems such as IEC 60870-5-101/104, IEC 61850, DNP3, and corresponding communication structures and data engineering

- Experience in both engineering and commissioning activities

- Proficiency in English, competency in Swedish is preferable

- Previous experience with MicroSCADA and AVEVA System Platform (InTouch) is a major plus.

Additional Information:

- This position is based in Ludvika.

- 10% travel - In the end of a project there is a need of travel for commissioning. Travel is normally 1-3 weeks every to every second year. Opportunity for more travels are possible if the consultant is available for that.

- You will work as a consultant for one year before getting employed by our client.
