SENIOR SCIENTIFIC ADVISOR
LOCATION: Uppsala, Sweden

HOW WILL I MAKE A DIFFERENCE?
As the Sr. Scientific Advisor you will be responsible for developing and executing the scientific research strategy for the global allergy portfolio, ensuring scientific support for allergy related topics throughout the organization.

WHAT WILL I DO?
You will be joining the Global Marketing - Scientific & Medical Affairs Team and report to the Director of Scientific & Medical Affairs.
Your responsibilities will include:
Develop strategies for generating evidence within the Allergy market
Plan, design and monitor studies of strategic importance
Drive clinical collaborations within the Allergy field
Distribute and share relevant scientific/clinical evidence internally and externally
Support and develop high level KOLs for effective research and access strategies
Validate Business Development opportunities from a clinical and scientific point of view
Actively participate in the Clinical Approval Board
Ensure our products are aligned to Clinical Guidelines in Scientific & Medical activities
Support scientific programs at congresses and company-sponsored symposia
Develop, maintain and make accessible Value Dossiers in the field of Allergy
Internally, act as consultant providing scientific expertise to other functions (e.g Lifecycle Teams, R&D, Commercial Organizations, QA/RA)
Review and evaluate scientific literature continuously
HOW WILL I GET THERE?
We are looking for a motivated and proactive individual, who is used to working internationally and has several years of experience from the pharmaceutical, medical device, or diagnostics industry.
The successful candidate should have the following skills and experience:
Strong scientific knowledge in clinical research methods and ideally a doctoral degree (e.g. PHD, MD, PHARMD) in a life-sciences subject
Understands factors driving market access and how clinical evidence can support access decisions
A track record of delivering applicable clinical evidence, dossier adaptations, and of scientific publications in relevant professional and disease area related journals.
Past experience of collaborating with clinical, medical, and commercial stakeholders in a matrix organization.
Demonstrated ability to operate independently, to take initiative, be resourceful, and exercise astute business judgment to drive performance.
Demonstrated ability to synthesize clinical and scientific data and influence strategy development.
Must have excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written presentation skills.
Fluent English is required
