What You'll Do
design, perform, analyze, document and present mammalian cell culture experiments in different formats: adherent, suspension, lab scale to bioreactors
develop, invent and improve new products and processes for the bioprocess industry, specifically within the fields of antibody-production, microcarriers and production of vaccines/viral vectors
provide scientific and technical expertise within the areas of upstream process development, microcarriers and vaccines/viral vectors and solve technical problems
act as Lead System Designer, activity leader and field expert reviewer
act as a mentor/local expert and support peers within the areas of antibody-production, microcarriers and vaccine/viral vectors
present scientific and technical results internally and externally, oral and written communication in Swedish and English
Who you are
Expert in mammalian cell culturing in different formats including bioreactors.
Experience of and understanding of industrial processes to produce biologics.
Experience in upstream process development for production of biologics.
Experience in multiple analysis formats, specifically methods related to biologics production.
PhD in biology, medicine, engineering or related Life Science field and/or a minimum of 5 years of experience from industrial development/ R&D within medicine, biotechnology or bioprocess
We are looking for someone with the drive and capability to initiate, plan, perform, analyze, document and present results to drive our projects forward.
In order to succeed in this position, you need to be result-oriented, flexible and creative with a strong collaborative attitude, focusing on the customer needs.
Experience of working with virus is a merit
Occasional work on weekends may occur.
