As a Senior Scientist - Respiratory in vivo Specialist your skills and qualifications will ideally include:
-A BSc-level education (or equivalent) in pharmacology, toxicology or related life science discipline
-A detailed understanding of current principles and concepts in safety assessment
-Extensive knowledge of in vivo respiratory organ system
-An ability to develop and conduct in vivo toxicology studies for other organ systems, e.g. hepatic
-An awareness of local regulations and compliance systems
-A working knowledge of patent and IP strategies
As a Senior Scientist - Respiratory in vivo Specialist your main responsibilities will involve:
-Develop and conduct in vivo toxicology studies focussed mainly on the Respiratory organ system but also conducting in vivo studies in other organ systems as required.
-Independently assess and report data with a clear understanding of its reliability, interpret findings and draw authoritative conclusions and recommendations so that their significance can be appreciated
-Develop and maintain a level of scientific knowledge and capability, perhaps extending to specialist expertise
-Making sure that all work is performed in accordance with appropriate quality and compliance standards
