We believe that you have a minimum of 6 years of progressive and diverse experience within a similar SEM and Paid Social role. You have demonstrable experience in improving SEM and Paid Social metrics and working multiple accounts as well as Google ads automation and product data feed optimization experience. You also have demonstrable experience in geographical targeting and local search and experience with using a variety of SEM and Paid Social tools and platforms such as Google Ads, Facebook ads manager and/or data visualization tools. Furthermore you have strong communication skills with business and technical stakeholders as well as excellent language skills in written and spoken English.
You have knowledge in following areas:
• extensive knowledge of the content strategy for SEM and Paid Social within IKEA
• intermediate understanding of Search Engine Optimization
• in-depth knowledge of digital analytics and related KPIs, as well as data handling and manipulation
• SEM and paid social-specific tools knowledge (e.g. Google Ads, Marin Software or Adobe media optimizer) as well as product data feed management tools (e.g. Golden Feed or ProductsUp)
• fundamental knowledge of Content Management System (CMS) tools and Javascript)
• digital communication knowledge blended with IKEA tone of voice
• fundamental knowledge of traffic acquisition, content optimization and conversion
• up-to-date knowledge of customer behavior, trends, digital best practices, tools and methods
To be successful in this role you need the ability to derive trends and business insights, and turn them into requirements. You have strong analytical skills, data driven approach with ability to analyze and break down large amounts of data. You are also able to understand customer needs in the seamless experience to challenge the common ways of thinking as well as to contextualize and communicate complex issues from an SEM and Paid Social perspective connected to other areas to generate buy-in and create solutions. Furthermore you demonstrate strong IKEA leadership skills, develop both the business and the people and you deliver results. You inspire and clarify, create togetherness and find better ways to enable change.
A DAY IN YOUR LIFE WITH US
The purpose of this job is to contribute to IKEA goals for growth and positioning by improving the SEM and Paid social presence and performance in the digital channels, where IKEA is present.
You will be responsible to execute SEM and Paid Social strategy to support the traffic growth to IKEA.com, both in quantity and quality, to the desired customer experience and optimal conversion rate levels.
You will:
• provide SEM (Search Engine Marketing) and Paid Social expertise across relevant digital touchpoints to product teams and market support by supporting in definition of user stories and providing technical requirements expertise input, research and analytics feedback
• support the Product Owner(s) in writing user stories to enable products using Paid Search and social channels
• analyze, reviews and implementing SEM and Paid social updates and tactics across the digital touchpoints providing recommendations for content and technology to increase visibility on all major organic search players
• setup and manage SEM and Paid Social campaigns within a global scope
• collaborate closely with SEO and other digital channels to find the best balance across organic and Paid Search & Social
• collaborate cross-functional with content creators, markets and global stakeholders to identify new commercial opportunities and develop common solutions
• support Digital Experience Optimisation Manager in coaching and develop junior team members on functional expertise
• periodically report on SEM and Paid social key performances indicators
• use the insight from the Data Science & Analytics teams to understand paid search & social performance, using this data to inform designs for use interfaces to improve the user experience
• work across initiatives within INGKA Group, steering solutions towards the correct focus on customer experience
