Senior Security Engineer

About the role :
We are looking for a Senior Security Engineer as domain lead in our Security Engineering Team! This is a rare opportunity to work on bleeding-edge technology with a company at the forefront of compliant cloud technology. Responsibilities:
Engineering, implementing & monitoring the security measures to protect our computer and network systems.
Develop a technical solution & automated repeatable tasks to ensure the protection of our computer and network systems.
You will build and run a distributed team of 3-4 engineers maintaining the Security Engineering of a global cloud services provider.
You will be involved in hiring process of your team members.
Develop the best practices and security standards for the organisation.
Testing and risk assessing incoming security change requests.
Assist fellow employees in security implementations.
Providing assistance with security documentation.

Must have:
Good knowledge in coding & automation skills with Python, Git, Yaml and Ansible.
Cloud security knowledge.
Experience with Linux/Unix system .
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
You should be able to communicate in a concise and clear manner in English.
You should be comfortable with externalising the information.
Experience of working in a distributed team, ideally in a team lead capacity.
An understanding of best practices and how to implement them at a business-level.
Critical thinking and the ability to solve problems.



Good to have:
Understanding of automation tools.
Knowledge of vulnerability management.
Past experience working with CI/CD framework.

Personal Qualities:
Genuinely interested in new technologies.
Accustomed to playing on a team.
Well-organised and structured.

Remote work : We are flexible in regard to your work place & allow you to choose for yourself. You can select remote work if you are located within the EU or join one of our offices in Karlskrona / Stockholm.
