Our Exciting Opportunity

The Security Technologies unit is part of the Ericsson Product Security organization, a global center for cyber security in the CTO office. Product Security is tasked to be a prime driver in Security & Privacy within Ericsson. We work with R&D and Global Services, along with all Business Areas and regional organizations – fully end to end.

In your role you will be a member of the team tasked to drive Ericsson security technology development and execution. This requires constant awareness of current security technology posture in Ericsson’s product portfolio, related short-term technology improvement needs, and the ability to provide long-term security technology strategy direction and focus areas. You will be working closely with other technology specialists across Ericsson, external partners and vendors. Additionally, this role will be representing Ericsson in international security communities and forums. Responsibilities

Drive strategic technology leadership
Demonstrate technological innovation leadership
Influence using technology competence
Champion standardization
Identify and research emerging trends in security and privacy technologies
Support Ericsson business and customer units in strategic security related engagements



To be successful in the role you must have

Passionate about changing the world
Ability to drive cross-functional collaboration in an international environment
Demonstrable experience in security technologies
A minimum of 5 years’ experience in IT or telecom
Solid balance of critical thinking and ability to get things done
Natural urge to learn and develop, have ambition to grow
Excellent presentation and communication skills in English
Good skills in customer interaction
Ability to take initiative for your own responsibilities while collaborating with colleagues and stakeholders
